“C” is no longer for cookie

In the ultimate politically correct move, Sesame Street is no longer allowing the Cookie Monster to sing “C” is for Cookie. He will now be singing a song about how cookies are a “sometimes” food. Oh please! What have we come to. No doubt this was because some overweight child’s mother threatened to sue Sesame Street because she can’t tell her 5 year no. Let us blame the blue monster that screams “cookie” and then proceeds to shove cookies into his mouth. Nevermind that the majority of the cookies never make it to his mouth because they are flying everywhere. I grew up watching the Cookie Monster and somehow manage not to shove 30 cookies in my mouth(the exception being one time when I had a really bad break up…there was ice cream involved too). Now he is going to introduce other foods that start with the letter C. Carrots, celery, cabbage and mmmm maybe even carob chips. Next thing you know, Bert and Ernie wont be living together…because I know that is not politically correct in this day and age.
