So if you are like me then you love going to warehouse clubs and getting the free samples. Well if you are near a Sam’s Club you are in BIG luck this weekend. Big luck. Heck, even if you don’t live that close to one, the drive might be worth it.
This weekend, Novmeber 19th, 20th, and 21st from 11am to 6pm, Sam’s Club will be hosting their annual Holiday Taste of Sam’s Club Event. In which they will be featuring everything from appetizers, to main meals, to dessert will be featured. I was lucky enough that when I went to Arkansas in September to get to sample EVERYTHING that they were having in the clubs for the holiday season. Now I did not sample everything as this girl got full. But I did sample EVERY dessert. I’m surprised that I did not go into a sugar coma, but I didn’t. 😀 The Cheesecake Factory® Red Velvet Cheesecake is worth the trip alone…I could have eaten the whole thing if they would have let me.
In addition to the food, they will also be doing tree trimming decorations. While I was in Arkansas they served us a holiday meal using all of what they had to offer, as well as had the whole room decked out in super cute holiday decor (I wanted to run home and put my tree up). All for very reasonable prices. So come and see cute ways to decorate your tree and home as well as get your fill of yummy samples…save room, you will need it.
To see what is going to be there go here. Or you can check out their Facebook page here.

Thanks for the heads up! I love our local Sam’s club, and any excuse to get free food (and maybe stock up for the holidays!) sounds great to me!

Another tidbit: Every black Friday, Costco hands out copies of their cookbook (a new one every year). Sure, the recipes are sponsored by the food manufacturers and feature their food, but who says you have to buy it? It’s not like Gourmet, but there are some decent recipes in there for weeknight meals.

ooo yes! I love Sam’s Club – mainly just to sample and browse. (I am a one person household, so hard for me to shop in there!)

I do love me some free stuff! One of my earliest memories is getting lost and losing my parents in a Sams Club.

My kids and I love Taste of Sam’s. They get to sample all the things they want and very often I find sometime new they’ll eat. That is a huge help when you get stuck in a dinner rut.
We can browse for hours, too. Our Sam’s has a couple of really great employees I can always count on, too.

Must tell my husband. We used to make the trip to Sam’s Club on Saturday a regular event because he LOVED sampling the food.

Really disappointed this year !!! Normally we go to sam’s in naperville , il but since we moved we went to the one in Batavia Il. We were there at 11:30 am all they had out was pie in the bakery and apple cider. Needless to say we won’t go to 1 of these special events at this site again. They had more items out 2 weeks before.
